The Clean Energy Link is the most affordable way to bring new renewable energy to Long Island. Its six new wind and solar projects are built where the cost and availability of land allow for economies of scale that are not possible locally. No other project helps Long Island combat climate change quicker, or at a lower cost.

The Clean Energy Link is the quickest and least expensive way to triple Long Island’s clean energy supply and begin to meet Governor Cuomo’s 50 by 30 mandate, while preserving Long Island’s open space.

Smart Planning

The project will capture all of the federal subsidies for wind and solar (100% of the production and investment tax credits), passing along the savings to Long Island ratepayers.
