The project will bring an additional 500 MWs of renewable power to Long Island – that’s enough to power almost 500,000 homes. This makes the Clean Energy Link the largest renewable project in Long Island’s history.
The small converter station will preserve Long Island’s open space and will produce zero carbon emissions. Long Islander’s will no have access to wind and solar farms to do not produce air or water pollution.
PROTECTING LONG ISLAND’S GREEN SPACES
Theproject will be located on a 3.5-acre parcel of land and will not impact Long Island’s ground water.
