Governor Cuomo has committed to secure 50% of New York’s energy from clean sources by 2030 (50 by 30). The Clean Energy Link is the quickest, most affordable path towards achieving the 50 by 30 mandate on Long Island.

“I believe this nation and this state needs a clean energy policy that is realistic and that can be implemented before we destroy this planet.”

- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo

This is the largest renewable energy project ever proposed for Long Island, capable of more than tripling its green energy supply. The project’s portfolio of three new wind and four new solar farms will be spread across the PJM regional power market, and deliver 677 megawatts of electricity.

The Clean Energy Link is the most affordable way to quickly bring new renewable energy to Long Island by accessing power produced at economies of scale not possible locally.
