The Clean Energy Link will triple the amount of renewables while strengthening Long Island’s electrical grid – all at a cost lower than other local projects.
WE’VE GOT THE RECORD TO PROVE IT
Members of the Clean Energy Link team also built the Neptune Line, another underwater cable providing electricity to Long Island, which has saved residents over $400 million since 2007.
HARNESSING OUT-OF-STATE ENERGY
The Clean Energy Link will open access to energy markets in NC, OH, PA, and WV where renewables are more affordable. Energy from these states is less expensive because of lower land and construction costs.
